Jaime M. Núñez, PHR - SHRM-CP
Jaime Núñez is a well-known entrepreneur and leader in Puerto Rico with an extensive career in the consulting and business services sector. As President of MiGentePR, Jaime has demonstrated an incredible ability to lead teams and projects aimed at improving efficiency and the well-being of companies and their employees. Additionally, he leads our Employee Benefits and Payroll Practice, where he leverages his vast experience to offer comprehensive and strategic solutions to our clients.
Jaime Núñez has also served as President of SHRM-PR (Society for Human Resource Management - Puerto Rico Chapter), where he demonstrated his strong commitment to advancing human resource management practices. Moreover, Jaime is a member of the Minimum Wage Commission, appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico. Under his leadership, we focus on enhancing the performance and well-being of human capital, adapting to the changing needs of the market, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Luis R. Benitez is the distinguished leader of our Economic Studies Services Practice. With over 30 years of experience, Luis is a renowned economist in Puerto Rico. His extensive career spans both the private and public sectors, providing invaluable insights and expertise to major corporations and government entities.

Luis has held prominent roles as an economist for leading businesses in Puerto Rico, as well as serving the government in both the legislative and executive branches. His experience includes positions that have allowed him to contribute significantly to economic policy formulation and implementation at the highest levels.

Jesús Vélez Domenech
Mr. Jesús Vélez serves as the dynamic leader of our Financial Management Services Practice. With over three decades of invaluable experience in the banking and financial industries, Jesús brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
Spanning an impressive career, Jesús has dedicated more than 18 years to a publicly traded bank, where he excelled in the trust, brokerage, and accounting departments. His profound understanding of these areas has been instrumental in shaping strategic financial solutions for complex challenges.
Further enhancing his comprehensive financial expertise, Jesús has spent over 10 years in international banking. His roles in accounting, finance, and managerial positions have endowed him with a global perspective on financial management, making him adept at navigating both domestic and international financial landscapes. Additionally, he previously held FINRA licenses Series 7 and Series 27 for broker-dealer, which underscores his deep familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance.
Jesús graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993 from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Business Administration. His academic excellence laid a solid foundation for his illustrious professional journey.
